Para Di-methoxy Benzene (1,4-DMB) is used as an intermediate in dyes and pigments, and, flavours. It has a very sweet floral aroma which is why it is also largely used in fragrances. It also finds its application in Agrochemicals. Additionally, it is also used in the synthesis of organic compounds.
